Movement is so good for us. You might find that it takes a couple years before you start to see real pace gains again. It took my body a long time to stabilize. I like to think of it as melting away all the T muscle and replacing it with E muscle. I peaked at a 39:50 min 10km in the BeforeTimes™. when I was on T, I could crank out a 5k at 6 min/km even not having run for months and months. after 3 months on HRT the pace I ran tanked to 9min/km on a 3k. As I trained, I stayed the same. It took 6 months of training to get to an 8min/km and about 2.5 years before really seeing gains. I got back up to a 5km @ 6min/km pace before the body I live in decided to succumb to EDS and other bad things. all this to say that it'll happen just slower than it did before. you got this!
