@thatgirl.rina: Tech neck is the adaptation of the cervical spine and surrounding muscles when it is put in a forward head position for prolonged periods of time. Many people have office jobs, requiring them to sit for 7 hours and work at their desk. Students are also at risk at developing tech neck due to prolonged study periods, reading, and having to completing homework. Here are a few recommendations I give to my patients who have office jobs when they come in with neck pain: ⭐️Invest in a stand-up desk or laptop stand ⭐️Adjust seat height to have 90 degrees of hip and knee flexion. If you are short, adjust the seat to reduce shoulder elevation first and then put a box under your feet. ⭐️Use a lumbar support pillow that maintains your back position and does not allow you to slouch. ⭐️Keep your neck neutral and look around your screen using your eyes, not your head. 👉🏻Go to my showcase to upgrade your desk set up! #neckpain #desksetup #ergonomic #posturecorrection #techneck
