@spicysoutherncharm: I learned to drive my parents car - good times! I thought I was cool in this Oldsmobile ninety eight with a V8 - 455 cubic inch motor cruising our strip. #80smusic #cruising #fyp #goodtimes

I drove 70s Continentals that were more than a foot longer than a modern Suburban and 10 times the vehicle they are. I genuinely feel bad for kids today that'll never know the satisfaction of hitting the gas on a big block American V8, the fun of cruising small town America on Friday and Saturday night, of how good a pizza could be when the trunk lid of a 77 Ford LTD became a makeshift table and the music was coming from the car. We didn't need social media because we perfected the art of being social. Our grandparents beat the depression, won World War 2 and then spent the rest of their lives celebrating that. We just followed a great example.
