If you use peroxide instead of Chlorine, the metal ones won’t rust. We had one for 4 years at old house with zero rust.

My parents did this with a poly cow tank. Picked it up probably around 27 years ago & was my childhood pool. Was hella fun to clean with a litte dish soap. 😅
