I think you can try changing the rendering setting of the main brush and set the burning edges mode to ‘behind’!

The only thing I can suggest is to create an illusion. Make the grains appear on the stars. That way, it will look as though they’re simply visible through the texture. Also, make the stars deviate slightly from the line.

im not sure how you can do this but im pretty sure you have to change the color mode on it, either color or something like that, i have the idea of what to do but im not sure how to do it in procreate
