Income restricted apartments never made sense to me so you want someone that makes just enough to pay rent instead of someone that makes more than enough and you know the rent is going to be paid

My Mama is a property manager at income restricted complexes. She’s got tenants driving Range Rovers. 😂 I asked her about it and she said they have to be under the limit for the first year because they have to recertify at the year mark, but after that, it’s never checked again, so they can make however much they want and keep their $600-$700 rent.

I lived in an income restricted apartment for 6 years. You only have to be under the income limit when you move in. After 90 days or 6 months it doesn’t matter how much you make. At my 1st renewal I was wayyyy over the limit and scared they would kick me out but they told me it didn’t matter. They never asked for my paystubs after that 1st renewal. My neighbor was making $120k and driving an x5.

no, certain colors of scrubs don't mean a specific thing. I worked for a factory that manufactured medical goods and I was very low income. we had to wear scrubs to work. certain food manufacturers also have to wear scrubs. these are low level jobs. don't get paid crap hardly. some cleaning services in my area also have to wear scrubs. hospital janitors have scrubs.

I was a manager at a property like that. And when they first applied they most likely they had a low income job. With income restriction properties, income only matters at the time of the application and when you do your 1st renewal because it’s verified. When that 2nd renewal comes around a person can put anything down, and that’s because verification is no longer necessary. This is in VA. Every state different

I tried to apply for some and they told me for 2 people you can’t make more than 60,000 I was like??? So you basically have to be at or below poverty level.
