@josh_neille: Well legends… here it is 👀 Part 2 of 4 – The Dogpen Koala This little female found herself in a proper pickle, stranded up on the corner of a dog pen post for a couple of days… so it turned into a bit of a night mission 🌙🛠️ Had to head out under the cover of darkness and scoop her up. This episode is all about the assessment phase back at the animal hospital 🏥 Checking her over for any injuries, dehydration, or anything going on internally. With koalas, especially around dogs, it’s not always what you can see… a lot can be happening under the surface. Massive shoutout to the legends who helped behind the scenes 🙌 Colleen Wood (Traralgon) and the crew from Koalas of Raymond Island – honestly the queens of koalas around our little Gippsland patch 👑 Absolute wealth of knowledge and always willing to help, even at stupid o’clock 📞 I’m learning more every time we get one of these beautiful critters in. They don’t come through here often, but we’re starting to see more and more… so building up the knowledge and hopefully some proper koala-specific setups in the future. A few things we’ve learnt so far: • They’re not fans of towels 🚫 • Prefer sitting up on a branch 🌿 • Poop tells you EVERYTHING 💩 • And they’ve got some pretty wild noises in them 😅 Such a unique Aussie icon 🇦🇺 and something we can take for granted sometimes… but every one of them is special.
