Miyazaki’s genius never ceases to amaze me. I can’t imagine one of his films without such a breathtaking view like we saw with the ocean view from the bakery. It takes me back to the first time I saw Spirited Away and saw the soft breeze grazing through the open field in the opening scenes. Kiki’s took me back to a very innocent place reminding me of the excitement and hopefulness of youth. It’s a wonderful portrait of a young girl sticking to who she is and a gentle reminder of how truly kind people can be.
