i always got told that everything should be light weight (the leave-in and the mouse) and then you should use a strong hold gel for the cast, and it should work together perfectly with loose curls

as a girl with short THICK loose curls i can easily say that the lighter gels never worked on my hair not even these that people said they had a good hold, so dont be scared to use a strong hold gel!!

I’m gonna try this - for me too the kinky curly gel works wonders for my 3a hair with strictly curls cream it gives them so much structure I feel like I have no idea why it works so well

yeah! I have a looser pattern that you and I use really thick curl cream and gel, so they shinrk a lot and last longer. Tho, it requires diffusing, so it doesn't weight them down 🫶
