Looks like you were holding the brush at the yellow angle, you need to hold it at the pink angle and go up and back. Also helps if you divide the two halves in half again and work in small rectangle sections! I’ve had a fringe forever so I can send you a vid if you need too!!

Hairdresser here this is how I teach my clients, they need to be wet before you style ! Like wet from the root, blowdry without a brush first to take some moisture out (treat them like a fringe in one big section) blast dry forward then to the left and then to the right, repeat until 60% dry, this trains it not to part so extreme in the middle. Then with a round brush or Dyson attachment, take the whole section and either roll it under for a swept bang look or roll away from your face ( will give you more of a farrah Fawcett vibe). It’s important to treat it like a fringe while drying and then sweep them like bangs. If you dry each side separately they will feel to harsh and seperates. 🧡

Hairdresser here - Take your fringe as one section. Depending on how you want your fringe, use the curler/brush OVER your fringe horizontally and away from your face and do that a couple times. Then, put it UNDER your fringe horizontally and away from your face. That should work better and not get them separating.

You need to bring the bangs forward with the blow brush pull down over your face with a few passes and then curl ends up towards the ceiling

I use a straightener and curl inwards and across to the opposite side of the face and then flick is back to the side it belongs to

you need to wet them down, then blow dry them across your head in both directions -look up "overdirection" videos. hot rolling brush wont do it - you need water & a hairdryer

Ok I had the same thing! You need to get rid of the cowlick by first blow drying it in all directions (up,down, left, right) focusing on your roots, thennnn you use the thermal brush to flick the ends. This will achieve the bags to sit flat on your face and flick out. It’s a science

When you blowdry from wet you need to stretch the hair from side to side. You need to round brush one side to the opposite direction it needs over direction so it sets from wet to dry so it doesn’t seperate when it’s dry. Take a triangle of one side and round brush it to the other and same for the other side then finish round brushing in one big section. When drying off use your brush and brush the roots to the opposite section so your cowlic re forms its memory thinking it belongs somewhere else
