Hear me out...tidy cat kitty litter. I had a bucket of it in our shelter. You can put a potty seat on it and it clumps and absorbs smell. It's easy clean up. We just left it in the shelter when mine were little.

I always do a bag with a few days of clothes and toiletries too and important documents. Just a small bag like if ur going on vacation. If one hits I’m not wearing the same clothes indefinitely.

maybe some baby ear muffs and toddler ones for nights and naps if it gets loud a battery powered heater/fan so it dont get miserable and some blankets +pillows

Get a portable DVD player because of those can last a long time and also portable chargers and always make sure they’re charged

You need to pack a tub and keep it in the shelter so you don’t have to worry about grabbing a bag to go down there. Also keep a case of water in there.
