I work at Dollar general and we do this all the time we let people take as many as they want..it helps us out with getting more empty rolltainers for other stuff

you can also call grocery stores and restaraunts and ask if you can have their boxes after truck days

we not allowed,we send all the boxes back when truck is delivered,even the produce boxes

we have been told by new policy to tell anyone and everyone asking no as we have to return the boxes to the dc. I just tell people grab some from the rt outside if we haven't had a sweep yet
