i always think about this too 😭 like what if we chose a different school, different program, or made one different decision in life… would we still have met the same people? i used to think decisions completely define destiny, but now i kinda believe that if people are really meant to meet, life will find different ways to make it happen. maybe the path changes, but the connection still happens somehow. though i think the roles we play in each other’s lives would be different. everything really happens for a reason.

My name was accidentally left off the student list once. Because of that, the school counselor called all the students whose names were missing from the list and assigned us to different classes in order. As it turned out, I ended up in the same class as my boyfriend. Sometimes I think that if my name had been on the list, or if that teacher hadn't assigned me to that class, we might never have ended up dating. we still together for 10 years+
