I agree with Caleb. A primary residence shouldn’t be considered an investment. The opportunity cost of putting a down payment on a house versus investing is too high, especially when a down payment is most of your net worth.

What they don’t talk about with buying a house is home equity. You need to build home equity. Home equity is a financial asset that can better assist you buying other houses if used properly.
