real tip. get a cheap laptop $200 used. usb sticks. install windows. install Linux. watch youtube. security+ professor Messer. go pass the cert. find any mini pc with 8th gen intel or higher, grab 2. grab cheap switches and routers. maybe even cisco. network+ or Cisco ccna. learn networking. install proxmox. build network. opn sense, pfsense, openwrt,etc. learn. create dns server, build security systems like wazah. take network+ or Cisco ccna, get the cert. find a better job. think about cysa. maybe server+, Linux+ if they r cheap.
