Use dandruff shampoo mixed with Vit C tablets and leave on as a mask . (YouTube it) I dyed my hair dark brown once and did this and it really stripped out the colour

You need to go to a color specialist hairdresser. The reason why the ends will not hold onto the red is because it was previously bleached blonde. A colorist will fill your ends and then you’ll be able to hold onto the color. The reason why your roots are darker than your ends is because your roots are natural hair that has not been previously bleached. Long story short, go to a real hairdresser/color specialist.

Stylist here , your ends are much more porous then your root area therefore the color washes out faster. Your cuticle on your ends are always open and the color doesn’t lock-in. So use a weekly copper mask mostly on your ends. Try not to apply heat. Use a color safe shampoo and conditioner. 🥰
