How to Cure Seasickness ⛵️🫠🌊 After many years at sea, I’ve found these to be the best, and worst remedies for motion sickness. First, seasickness is caused by a disconnect between your vestibular (inner ear) system, and your visuals. When you feel motion but you can’t understand where it’s coming from this causes nausea, dizziness and fatigue. Which can be BRUTAL if you’re stuck in a long offshore crossing 🤮 Remedy 1- Ginger. Eat it raw, drink it as tea, take Candys. Ginger helps increase circulation and keep your senses sharp. It is in my opinion THE BEST all natural cure! 🫚🫚 2) acupressure wristbands work by placing pressure at a direct spot under your wrist. I can’t say these work very well. 3) motion sickness tablets (Dramamine, Mercalm) these are great if taken at least half an hour before going on a boat. Once underway it’s already too late. They also can cause drowsiness which isn’t great if u want to run exciting day at sea! ⛵️🤙 4) Scopoderm patches are great long lasting remedies and have th me best results I’ve seen for people who get dreadfully sick.
