@oceanlovinlisa: What should’ve been just a few days of painting the cab, bed, fenders, and small parts turned into over a week… and three full paint jobs later. We ran into an issue, we believe, was bad clear. The clear laid down beautifully - smooth like glass - but within seconds, small spots started shrinking and damaging sections of the paint. Not orange peel… this was (solvents/reactions) something completely different. So… we sanded it down. And then sanded some more. (Especially those fenders.) The good news? We found a clear that works, and we’re finally back on track. Hoping for smooth sailing from here but, when you’re painting a truck, you just never know what’s coming next. Some of you asked for more detail in the process. My dad’s a natural teacher, and you’ll hear him explaining things as I spray. Stick with us as we keep pushing forward on my 1950 Ford F1… and ENJOY THE RIDE! #Fyp #carsoftiktok #fordtruck #F1 #classiccars
