I am goth, I combine my own style, it has victorian, Edwardian, some neomedivialism and iron age jewelry as well as pagan core. this is how I am goth in my style. It isn't my place to tell others how to dress.

Being alternative is the music, politics, ect. Fashion is the smallest part. Im full punk but i dont look punk whatsoever. U dont have to look alt if u dont want to (i dress alt like 1% of the time) but if u have the values, music, ect. Then ur alt.

to be honest, everything is about people, not about their look. I may like heavy metal but wearing clothes and style I like and if someone would say that im not "real" metal fan I would just laugh in their face. Keep the good content you are making. Keep doing and stylizing yourself how you like. No one have right to judge if you are someone or if you are not. Stay safe.

For me, I am in a bit of a catch-22. On one hand, I am absolutely loving seeing my culture rise and being proud to be goth. It is great to see. On the other hand, it is also annoying me, as 10 years ago, I was made fun of, shunned, laughed at for being goth. I offended people (apparently) just by my presence. But now everyone in their mother's arse is goth. Yet the same people who laughed at me are now goth. I kind of liked the exclusivity rather than the popularity of it. But at the same time I love to see it grow. So I am confused on what to think LOL.
