don't know where you'd gotten your recommendation, by the looks of the food they're definitely not from the popular stalls. You've got to understand local hawker food in it's original form, not the hyped up using large prawns, for example in hokkien mee.

Hi again 🤣 For Roasted delights, try Ah Lai Roasted at 308C Punggol Walk. Their san bao fan (roasted duck, roasted pork and char siu) is really good too! Most importantly, they are affordable at SGD $7.30 only! Ask for more rice if you'd like cause there's always not enough rice for me 😂
