When this muscle is tight, fibrotic, and full of trigger points, it blocks the flow underneath. No amount of surface lymphatic work will fix that. The fluid has nowhere to go. This technique helps. Instead of pressing straight into the muscle, you spread the tissue apart. This lets you access the deeper layers point by point. You find the trigger points, hold them, and let the tension release before moving to the next one. Each point you release opens the tissue a little more. Circulation increases. The fascia softens.
