i think she decided to truly trust him, and he most likely never gave her any signs to not trust him. That happened with my ex, I never doubted him, he gave me multiple reasons to fully trust him, and when i found out he was cheating it caught me off guard. I feel like the hurt is a little different when you didn’t have any suspicions prior
