Macs aren't even perfect. They don't have an OLED, aren't the cheapest, memory and storage isn't upgradable, i/o is lacking and the air doesn't even have a fan yet I would still buy one over any modern mainstream laptop. Apple is probably the only manufacturer other than framework to get the basics right 😭 mainstream was getting too complacent anyway, I don't think there has been an exceptional windows gaming/mainstream laptop since 2021/2022

only reason I can't agree is because there is no way of putting other os on. they don't even need to release full source code to compile a Linux Kernel. if they provide a Kernel and update it regularly it would literally be the perfect laptop.
