Can we talk about Tanya Blount? I feel like we aren’t talking about her very soulful, rich, warm and velvety voice which is often very confusing to classify due to her expansive vocal range. But for anyone interested she’s a Spinto-soprano, she is heavily rooted in soulful R&B and gospel, characterized by strong melisma. Her range spans about 3 octaves 5 semitones and till today she SINGS DOWN🥰🔥
