I do lemon law for a living. I hate when shops make them do an oil consumption test. However they need to be losing oil consistently in order to get a new engine. They do this when there are no visible leaks cause the oil is going somewhere.

What’s the point of having the middle man for clients communicating with mechanics? Wouldn’t it be better if admins only handled bookings and payments?

on the bright side it's pretty easy to do the math. drain the oil into a container measure it and compare it to the miles driven. if the spec is 1qt in a thousand and it's 3qts low after 4k it passes. 3qts after 2k it fails.

Had to do ts recently. A quart was the amount. Consumed a cunt hair less than a quart. A week later was below the quart line.

not me sucking some oil out of the oil pressure sensor port to get a free new engine since they silicone everything else for anti tamper. 🥰🥰
