@goliathliftzz: People have been arguing about high volume vs low volume training for decades, and at some point it starts to feel like there has to be a clear answer. Arnold trained at golds gym with insane volume, long sessions, high frequency, always chasing the pump. Dorian, in the underground temple gym, went in the complete opposite direction: low volume, all-out intensity, pushing sets to failure and getting out. Most people look at that contrast and assume the difference in their physiques must come from how they trained. Dorian was the first to bring the mass monster look, overpowering Arnold in 20+lbs being over 3 inches shorter. But then you look at someone like Jay Cutler, how do you explain his size? High volume again, multiple sessions, shorter rest periods, not built around failure the same way Dorian trained… and still just as massive. That’s where it stops being a simple “this vs that” conversation. Because if opposite approaches can lead to the same level of size, the method alone probably isn’t the deciding factor people think it is. Training volume matters, intensity matters, execution matters, but they all exist inside something bigger that’s harder to quantify. Effort, consistency, progression over time, how hard someone is actually willing to push when it counts… those variables don’t show up in a program, but they show up in the result. And that’s why these debates never really get settled. So when you think about your own training, it’s worth asking what you’re really relying on. Is it the structure of the program itself… or how much you’re actually getting out of it? #dorianyates #lowvolumehighintensity #jaycutler #goliathliftzz #trainhardorgohome

If Arnold had gone toe to toe with Ronnie Coleman or Dorian Yates Arnold would have never won seven Mr.Olympic titles

In reality the amount of gear and genetics plays the biggest role

what matters for naturali is the amount of stimulus you give, QUANTITY and QUALITY, because muscles accumulate stimulus, and therefore there is no point in stopping training after one set per exercise (in the context of maximization)

Genetics: High-Volume vs High-Intensity. Choose based on your fiber type dominance (I talk about this in my book). But, yeah, high-Volume is easier than high-intensity.

insane volume will get you to failure eventually too, very similar to a superset, at the end its just who has the best genetics and takes the most gear

Genetics is everything,no matter how you train or how much gear you take.

Trust me but dorian did not train 3-4 times a week and less than hour to be mass monster he maybe trained that at prime but not to get there

it's definitely how you do things yea train till failure is key but when you reach a limit of weight before injury that's where sets come into play your body adapts so giving them extra sets is key you build your self up to it lifting heavy weights tear diffrent muscle fibres

Yates didn’t train 3xweekly. It was minimum 4. Train 2 days, 1 rest day. This post is somewhat misleading. Yates also trained a lot heavier than Arnold
