It’s thick, sticky, and packed deep into the channel, which makes manual removal slow and inconsistent. Here, a rotating drill attachment is used to break it up and clean it out evenly. The spinning motion shaves and lifts the adhesive from the groove, clearing it far more efficiently than hand tools while keeping the channel uniform. This step is critical before resealing, because any leftover glue can prevent a proper seal and lead to leaks or fogging later.
