Just spent my vacation in Shenzhen. Was one of the best, if not The Best, vacation I have ever taken. Friendly people, cheap food and goods, and most places that you want to go are a short walk or cab ride away. I had a very good time.

I've been to China umpteen times... they can surveil you a million times, but they don't care a thing about you, so long as you don't break any laws.... so if all these surveillance is to keep law and order...n what's the issue with that? you can sleep in the park at 3 am n nobody cares about you .. crime is non existent.... so what's so bad about that? freedom from lawlessness is a wonderful thing ... so don't gimme a FREEDOM narrative...
