Day 10 — she noticed her cheeks looked a little brighter. Probably nothing. Day 30 — her husband paused mid-sentence at breakfast and just looked at her. Didn't say anything. But she saw it. Day 45 — she stood in front of the mirror in her cream robe, touched her cheek, and for the first time in a long time, the woman looking back at her felt like her. Not younger. Just her — rested, lit from inside, finally unburdened. She smiled. Quietly. Just for herself. "I forgot what this felt like."
