My dad died last August. Not one person on my side of the family has asked me how I am since the day he died. (My husband, son, and one Niece are the only ones) 😩 And here I am- whenever someone I love loses someone I literally text them about once a week for a year. Even if it’s just a “I’m thinking about you, here if you need me”
