Racism is based on the false assumption that humanity can be divided into fundamentally different biological groups that determine a person’s value, intelligence, morality, or abilities. Modern biology, genetics, and anthropology have repeatedly shown that this assumption is incorrect. Human beings belong to a single species, Homo sapiens, and the genetic differences between populations are extremely small.
