Episode 6 was my favorite episode so far. Everything was perfect!! Honestly I was a little annoyed at Ian doing the whole noble idiocy thing bc it’s one of my least favorite tropes so I LOVED that Hui Ju called it like it was, him being a coward. Like obv ignoring Hui Ju would never even keep her safe. Even more than that scene though, I loveddddd him checking Queen mama. Then finally Hui Ju leaning into her feelings (bc I’m already tired of the divorce talk, like yall ain’t even get married yet 💀)

At the palace dinner the queen says I-an isn’t wholly innocent in the kings death and that he shouldn’t stand in the way of his nephew. I know she goes on to explain that based on his name he should refrain from harming the stability of the crown. Was she saying all that to try to get Hui-Ju to turn on him?

I too loved this scene too and her letting him know she is not expecting protection or calm from their relationship. Something I never liked about “I’m leaving you to protect you” tropes is when the other person just accepts this. It slows everything down and pretty much take the situation ten steps back, but thanks to our girl Heeju didnt happen here 💕

Honestly so far its almost perfect. My only problem is, i am not feeling the villain. I am heavily confused on whether the queen is a "villain" character or a "red herring" character. And we haven't really solved any mysteries yet. That being said, we are still early in the series, but i would like the next 2 episodes to start unraveling stuff

ahhhh i loveee how you worded that out!!!! another underrated scene is when huiju stood up for him during that dinner!!! i mean obviously i repkayed the proposal anf the yacht scene, but that dinner scene oh lord im so here for thattt id fall in love tooo!!!!!

Love the episodes but the moment they brought up the contract I can now immediately see the trope of someone finding their contract and it going public and etc 😩I hate that trope so muchhhh, cuz why do they slay do such a terrible job at hiding a fkn contract

I LOVE this show. Haven’t had this much fun watching a drama in a while. There’s a lot going for it: great leading and supporting actors, cute kid, political drama, fashion, interiors, exteriors. And now we have romance. 🥰🥰🥰

I loved how Hui-ju got him out of there. He wasn't able to stand up for himself so she did it 😭 She'll make him a better man. The kiss came so early, wonder how peaceful their relationship will be
