This is why I had such a hard time as a kid making friends because they loved my whimsy behind closed doors but in front of other people they would just make fun of me and they’d get embarrassed because they thought I could turn it off?? Luckily I just met other whimsy friends or people who love that I am this way!

For so long, I felt such a deep hurt, when I was dismissed/treated like an outcast for just being my childlike self. It took me until my mid-late20’s to realize my level of imagination is a blessing. This world may be full of scary &awful things, but that is exactly why it is so dire that we embellish our minds with awe &whimsy. (CorporateAmerica is unfortunately designed to take that from us)
