Hi. I was on amitriptiline last for 3 years. I suffer from a nerve pain. It wasn’t helping that much. I just started 3 days ago doloxetine. I feel the pain is worse. I can’t sleep. I don’t know if I should keep going😒

I use this for depression. Doesn't help with fibromyalgia at all. Not at all. I use Tramal for fibromyalgia which helps a lot with the pain.

I'm on Fentanyl patches since 2007 wich takes the sharp edges of the pain so I can work 2/3 night's a week along with weekly fysiotheraphy and muscle relaxers.I do have a very heavy loaded job in night shifts at age 58 now and 4 more years to go before my retirement. I have been treated for over more than 20 years in several hospitals,painclinics by several specialists and too many kinds of medication wich didn't work.It's a struggle and everyone needs to set his own bounderies.

I take 25 mg of amitriptyline and 60 mg of duloxetine for nerve pain. We found lowering the dose on both and doing a combo treatment worked better than one alone for me. Not sure if this would work for fibromyalgia too, but could be worth a try? Side effects are still awful months later though, and I fear there’s no avoiding them 😣

So I suffer mental health as well as fibromyalgia and they put me on duloxetine they are currently in process putting me on max dose but what im struggling with is i feel my mental health has declined badly since being put on duloxetine did find it got better once on right dose if you suffer mental health too? If not its okay xx

I tried the patch “ Butrans” and had allergic reaction. Tried Duloxotine, made me even more tired and soo thirsty. I am on gabapantine, and combination of tramadol/paracetamol when required. It helped me but not preventing flares. I still get flare up that’s when I use the tramadol/paracetamol. I do take separate medication for my migraines.

Everyone reacts different, i take 60mg in the morning and I sleep far better at night. it's not a miracle drug. the first few weeks where worse but now 5 weeks im good.

I’m now on 120mg and the horrible mental effects… anxiety and fear of going outside, dark thoughts that I’ve not had for many many years. Just about getting past it now but that’s over 4 weeks of keeping too it! Be strong girl!! 🥰

I have 60mg duloxetine in the morning and 60mg in the evening,I don't think its doing much for me apart from making me wake up every hour through the night 😴

I’m sorry this happened to you. Duloxatine has helped me so much! I have no side effects apart from the odd palpitations but that could also be peri menopause.

I tried: amytriptyline, lyrica, tramadol, opioid.... Gabapentin, nothing helped at all , since 6 months I'm on duloxetine 60 mg ,2x daily ... first 3 months horrible headache, and stomach pain,nausea...now no headache or stomach issues and I think it took about 30% of pain but everyday is unpredictable.

150 mg Trazodone for sleep at night, cyclobenzaprine to manage inflammation, and tramacet (tramadol) for acute flares. I’ve hade fibromyalgia for 34 years. Since I was 22. It’s not perfect, but it has helped me manage.
