I find this funny. First, people from all over the world come to the World Cup, not just from Europe. Second, nobody was talking about walking. The point is that in the whole world, whoever organizes such an event must have access to public transport to that place. And they must invest in infrastructure. And yes, we know that America is large in terms of area. Imagine that Russia is almost twice as large in area and still has public transport in its big cities.

texas is bigger than most countries so as Americans we dont simply walk everywhere. also why infrastructure is meant for vehicular travels unless you are in most towns but highways and freeways. nope

I live on Long Island, NY there are three to four lane roads everything WITH crosswalks and I wouldn't even consider walking across it!
