Leveraged index funds + selling weekly options changed my brain chemistry. I now earn 1-2% weekly instead of waiting for 2% annually on dividends

It depends what your goal is the dividend strategy can help you retire sooner the S&P500 is nice if you save for something like a house or a car, and big dividend aristocrats pay pretty good dividend and still go up in value look at Coca-Cola for example best is think is to do both though it will slow the process by a lit

Always selling the idea of you gain after 30 years is BS. When you can get CHPY and print money. 🔥

What if I buy individual stocks? Same stocks that have allocation in S&P? Because they grow more quickly as compared to funds and etfs

Depending on country, you can collect and reinvest dividends tax free unless you remove the dividends from the account to spend on something else. Those taxes on dividends are repeated a million times in the video.

People typically just looks at dividends and see the tax negative, but with dividends, you can build up a cash position, which can be used for greater reinvesting when the market is down, or simply just expenses and experiences over the 30 years. Dividends are for people who want peace of mind.

First of all these examples only ever use modest dividends that have no capital appreciation. It’s nonsense. My portfolio is giving me 25% annually in dividends on my cost of acquisition while appreciating and beating the S&P 500 in raw price accumulation for the past 6 years. All of it in a TFSA - in Canadian Funds which are Tax Free. This is advice is antiquated and FYI if you have one million in assets but you have to sell or borrow to make it liquid - then you lose. Cashflow is and will always be king and stop listening to your grandads financial advice

you win if all dividends are reinvested. And if you’re in a TFSA with something like VDY it’s even better.
