1. Use a comb when straightening 2. Use a good heat protectant & up that heat!! 3. Dont brush until hair is cooled down 4. If you live in a hot/humid state don’t go outside until hair is not warm to touch anymore 5. Add gel to the top to control frizz!! Ywww !

here's some tips as a cosmetology major! 1. try to do the hair brush/comb+straightener tactic, you can search it up to see how it's done, basically just brush down the section of hair and follow the brush with the straightener. 2. smaller sections=cleaner straight hair! 3. i do at least 2-3 passes on each section but that's bcs i have irish curls so 1 pass never does it for me 4. when i want my straight hair to last 2 or 3 days i use this like hair oil from balea on my hair before straightening but ONLY a little bit and only on the lengths don't let it touch your scalp and roots! when i don't want it to last longer than one day i just put the hair oil after straightening coz it removes the frizz and makes it look sleek! 5. try turning the heat up a bit, i mostly straighten at around 180-190 degrees celsius

use silk pillow case,put the straighteners a higher heat,straighten in smaller sections, and put oil on it, use cold hairdryer on your roots after and then after put hairspray on a brush and brush it thru when u think the hairspray ran out of the brush put more on the brush
