I know fencing is expensive, but maybe a simple chain type gate that goes from one side to another with a sign hanging off saying private property. Hope it works out for you .

You should definitely invest in a small gate.

Put up no trespassing signs and a sign on either side stating it’s a private driveway. If they continue to use it, you can file trespassing charges. But it has to be clearly marked.
