How do you tune down a amp so you don’t over power a sub? Let’s say I get a 3k amp need a 1000w for a sub how do I go about doing this I’m all for upgrading electrical then subs down the road

I don't care what it says it's not throwing out 800 RMS let alone 3,000 peak. I guarantee you an Old School Rockford fosgate 80 w punch amplifier would tear that thing to pieces

Don’t waste ur time getting a HD just go get a smart 3 it’s 10x better and is .5 ohm stable
