A UPS Driver job is one of those jobs that looks easy but there’s a lot more to it , to start with most of the trucks are stick and a lot of people don’t know how to drive stick , with all of the stuff involved it helps to get a good route with a good supervisor, some supervisors think that they are Maine sergeants others are more laid back, like most things in life it’s the luck of the drawl

there is an upside to 14 hrs. We get over time after 8 hrs a day so the long days suck but the pay is very nice! been with company for 27 yrs a driver 22 yrs. stay safe

I hired in off the street directly into Feeders. one week training with the On Road. didnt have to memorize the 5s and 10s. was pulling triples my second day.

I’m a driver. I was hired off the street. No preloader or seasonal. I was hired on 2018. Everything else. Yes. But I work in NYC so I’m lucky to have a bathroom everywhere. I got a route 8 months being into it. I’m still on my route. Love it. Everyone knows me. I did get tested a lot on my 40 days. I was grinding. I wanted it. So. Here I am.

I became a full time driver right off the street and didn't go to intergrade. I started in 1983 and retired in 2021

U are guaranteed they clean bathroom but a lot of drivers don’t wanna take the time to drive to one and we are not forced six days anymore. You can volunteer for the sixth day but they cannot make you.

No 1. Is incorrect, it depends the center you are applying to. I was hired in July, not during peak, was a receptionist at the time elsewhere outside of UPS, did integrad and my 30 days, became qualified covered driver before Oct. and currently a full time driver. Without working in the warehouse before hand.
