I still live in the town I grew up in. The first house, the rental house, and then the second house where my parents still live all still stand and are in great shape. Every once in a while I’ll drive by the first house. Damn I miss those times.

I understand…it never goes away. My mom passed exactly 41 years ago. I can still feel her warm hugs. I never want to forget. The sadness brings me close to her somehow.
