Let’s not forget that most packs for the game costed $10-$30. Meaning you were spending upwards of $500 if you wanted to experience the full game with every character. Not to mention the game itself played like almost any other Lego video game in existence

The game could’ve been so good if they didn’t make all the sets expensive cause they had like two waves of Lego figures and I know it doesn’t cost that much to make Lego figures with the programmable base of the character

Cause it was done near the end of the toys for life segment of gaming. If it would’ve been released pre skylanders trap team then it would’ve done much better cause you’d have a battle between infinity, skylanders and dimensions. Not really putting amibos here they are their own thing. I will also say, not having bonus levels for every license was also its downfall. I know we had a Lego game for Jurassic world, and same for ninjago and chima but they still could’ve done bonus levels none the less even if they were recreations. Another bit was because some dimensions were simply lackluster or in other words, some of the licenses were pointless. When compared to what was promised in series 3, they should’ve pushed for Minecraft, pirates of the Caribbean, hell even angry birds instead of settling for stuff like Knight rider, the goonies, and other much older licenses because the premise was of course for kids. I still have my whole lot and almost have them all, got most when it all came crashing down and you could find em all for 99 cents to a buck 99 and it sucks that we’ll never get the planned sets for series 3, but they should’ve had more recent licenses for the time.
