@neginiscool: Mehrdad Moshtaghi, a 27-year-old architect, was seriously injured and lost consciousness on January 9, 2026 in the city of Arak (Iran) after a military-grade bullet struck his head during a protest. He was transferred to the hospital for treatment. He underwent surgery, but after losing consciousness, he was moved to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Tragically, four days later, he passed away due to brain death and cardiac arrest. According to one of his close friends: “Mehrdad was an educated, creative, and promising young man-someone who could have built a future and left a meaningful impact.” Instead, under the bullets of repression, his life was taken from him. The name Mehrdad Moshtaghi must live on; this is yet another crime that must never be forgotten.
