I can relate. I also left my well-paid corporate job as a manager, something I once dreamed of. But I eventually realized it wasn’t really for me. Being a breadwinner means sacrificing a lot for your family. I’ve been financially independent since I was 12 and had to grow up fast, so this time I chose to give myself a break. Still in the process of finding myself.
So proud of you po.

I love this. It resonated with me so much. 🥹 After almost 7 years as a manager in hospitality, I got so caught up in work that I barely recognized myself outside of my job. I missed holidays, family gatherings, and many special moments. After resigning, I went back to hiking, performing, and doing the things I love. Slowly, I found my spark again and reclaimed my identity beyond job titles and responsibilities. 🫶🏼

Followed! I just resigned my good paying job to do nothing. I have to start again from zero. But I know God is preparing us for wonderful opportunities that will make us live the life we wanted and be aligned with our purpose on this earth.

I left home when I was 16, living alone for 16yrs already, hustling 20s, now zero savings, quit corporate to do nothing and owned business without money, without sure direction in life.🙃

When you turn your mindset to, "I quit my...to do nothing" to "I quit my... to live the life I want".

@𓂃𝓐𝓵𝓲𓂃۶ৎ: Giving you a follow! I'm currently 24, turning 25 and a wfh girlie, lately I have been feeling so drain. I feel no growth just having the same routine everytime. Started working at 17 and ever since I was never unemployed🥺 I don't wanna feel ungrateful but I also want to have a life outside. It's super hard to be a breadwinner but I feel like sacrificing my happiness and youth so much just to provide🥺 I wanna feel free.

I left my corporate career in June 2025 after spending years working hard in the banking industry. While it provided stability, I eventually realized that I had very little control over my time. There were so many things I wanted to explore, learn, and pursue, but working 9 hours a day, 5 days a week, plus spending a total of 3 to 4 hours driving on the road every day, made it nearly impossible.
I still value having a stable source of income, but I no longer want it to come at the cost of sacrificing my freedom and limiting my ability to pursue the things I truly want. Financial security is important, but so is having the time and flexibility to build the life I envision for myself. That’s why I chose to leave corporate life and focus on creating opportunities that give me both purpose and control over my time. This is so relatable 💚💚
