He is a Black man. Painted in not only black, but in the colours society has painted him in: angry, violent and scary. We don't understand what hes doing, but subconsciously we see a correlation, we see a reason, a justification. Not because hes man, but because he's a painted black man. Racism, classism and bigotry is the colour we are painted in. The colours of colonialism and the colours of denial, the colours he sees us in. I don't know what colours he actually sees us in but I know they are colours of anger, violence and fear. We live in a world where we see what we believe. There is no more question as the next scroll will be our answer. There is no more anxiety because the next scroll will be our solace. We shall scroll now and great the man painted in Black, a good bye. Then we will forget. And succumb.
