Well you’re 100% wrong. Lebron wouldn’t last in the 90’s era.

The fact you think Bron avg 27 for his career = he can avg 40 in the 90s or Westbrook should have 5 mvps should invalidate our whole argument. Stats are far more inflated today than the 90s not other way around.

Nobody ever takes the rules into consideration. MJ did a sh*t ton more under far more restrictions

Rule changes makes today’s game easier. Also players are making superteams. In Jordan’s days, he wanted to play against Magic and Bird, not play with them.

Except you’re not accounting for the fact that the league has made it easier for players to reach those astronomical scoring heights by changing and crafting rules that make the game much more offensively minded and tie the hands of the defense. What would certainly have been a travel call in the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s is now allowed as the players are “transitioning” while somehow taking nearly 7 steps without dribbling.

Not true. Hand checking and not playing games just to preserve the body changed the way the game is played.

Jordan would dominate any era. If you dropped Jordan in this era, he would train according to this era’s standards

But then switch the players to the different era LeBron would t be as good. If he came back then. And if Jordan played now he would be better

the players are more athletic but there's also less defense. less intensity with everyone jacking up 3's. in Jordan's era hand checking was legal. today's NBA u can't touch anyone without em flopping.

You talk about inflation but you don’t understand it. If a 2010 player would be playing in the 90’s then he would be subjected to the same factors the players in the 90’s does. That means the school, the training, the trend, and his mentally growing up. So Lebron’s stats would actually regress.

If this argument is true you must scale it correctly. A player from the 60s had 60s competition and had the talent of a 60s player so if they did good during that time period they are an all time great. If you wanna put a player from the 60s to today they would die. You must scale the talent. Picture let's day Jordans talent scaled to now's talent or lebrons talent scaled to the 90s talent. Lebrons numbers would go down and Jordan's would go up.

Weakest era of the Eastern Conference is the late 2000s into the 2010s. Consensus. After the 80s/90s players retired
