i pray so hard that inshallah, Allah brings me and him back together one day, but this time, it has to be the right way. the halal way. it hurts so much right now, and my heart feels completely broken being apart from him, but i’m trying to trust Allah’s timing. i just want us to have a clean slate, with no guilt and no secrets, just a beautiful, blessed future under Allah's protection. until then, i’m just making dua for him in the dark, pouring my heart out on my prayer mat, and hoping that our paths cross again when the time is right. if it’s meant to be, i know Allah will make a way for us that’s pure and permanent.
