ive ran mine are 24.5 for 15 years, on days like we have had the last couple of days it gives me plenty of safe range for temps going up, theyve never dropped below 24

I have mine about 26. I have scope either side of the safe range. Do the same thing with my alkalinity and aim for the middle range

Also look into an inkbird controller!!!! Can literally be a life saver if your heater fails. Only like £20-30 and worth every penny

mines at 27c all year round , I raised it to take in the swing I used to get in the summer , now no swing 👍

I'm bang on 26, if the average is 24 to 29, then being in the middle allows for fluctuations with a safe margin.
