Ну.. учитывая то что Кусуо мог не выполнять свои обещания и издевался над Рейтой, понять его отчасти можно... я щас не пытаюсь выставить Кусуо плохим а Рейту хорошим, наоборот оба правы и не правы по своему

I ALSO LOVE EVERYTHING THAT THIS ARC TELLS ABOUT TORISAI UUWHGHHHHH he betrayed Kusuo but I think calling him as just a traitor is too simple, a traitor yes but not a hater get it? for his betrayal we need to remember it's not exactly 100% his will since Kuusuke is leading the conversations the whole time and reita is so suggestible esp when it involves w his desires. Yes when Kuusuke suggest about crushing Kusuo he only concerns about his own strength instead of the fact that Kuusuke literally told him "hey why not just crush this guy 😼", but the main point is it's not that he genuinely wants to get rid of him in the first place yk? it's all started from Kuusuke giving him moments where he feel he deserved of good things for once and constantly implying that Kusuo is a limit to his freedom (also he came from religious family so he always have something w freedom heheh) Kuusuke baiting him with women again right in front of his face is the final nail in the head and he went on, but at this point he's only crazy about personal desire and freedom (again crushing Kusuo is NOT his main interest) he just want to be stronger and seperate himself from Kusuo to be free. but this is changes after Kuusuke put him through the resentment amplifier device (I don't think Kuusuke explains everything about the plan, he probably thought the device helps him become stronger or smth) from this point his insecurity, fear towards Kusuo as a person and anxiety about Kusuo's acknowledgement becomes twisted and helps fuels his hatred + Kuusuke manipulation adds to it. that's why in the manga when Kusuo first confronted him he sees him as a condescending figure out of the blue, He became ruthless to Kusuo because of all that hatred Kuusuke build up within him, but even with all of that mixed feelings fking up his mind Kuusuke knows he can never genuinely hate Kusuo... this boost the implication that he always loved Kusuo as a person this betrayal thing is just his feelings getting over him, even in the end his concern is why would Kusuo save someone like him. he's aware that he's the pos in this situation, HE NEVER HATED KUSUO!!! 💔💔💔💔 also the way he's proteFUH THE CHARACTER LIMITS

если честно я никогда глубоко не задумывалась над этой темой хоть и обыгрвала ее в своих фанфиках (просто использовала как толчок сюжета но не суть) но я склона думать в этой ситуации нет правых и виноватых. Торицука просто оказался легко внушаемым и если задуматься у него все же достаточно низкая самооценка чтобы можно было его настроить против Сайки 🤔
