@onatidalwhim: as a child, it felt like i was half in this world and half out of it. like i was living on this earth, but not OF it. watching everything from behind a screen, where i could see out, but no one could fully see in. and as isolating as that sometimes felt, there was so much magic in it. from a young age, i knew that there was way more beyond what we could see, and that gave me a sense of hope that always stayed with me. i was always aware of energy in ways that didn’t make sense at the time. and when you’re a kid, that’s not the best feeling to have. it was constant ovewhelm and fear. at one point, i was told i needed to “not be so spiritually open,” so the things i was experiencing wouldn’t continue happening. after my big paranormal experience, i shut everything out. i didn’t think i’d ever reunite with the little girl who would lay for hours, watching the colorful orbs float across the ceiling. what i understand now is that it’s never about shutting things out. it’s figuring out how to feel safe in it, while maintaining boundaries that feel solid for you. we have the ability to open and close ourselves in whatever way we choose. and our sense of safety in our own energy is what actually matters. let this be your reminder that the kid who once felt so lonely was never really alone at all. 🩷 #spirituallygifted #psychicgifts #intuitive #hsp #paranormalexperience
